Cherry Audios Dreamsynth er en hyldest til de berømte hybride analog+digitale synthesizere fra midten til slutningen af 1980'erne. Det innovative design blander fleksible dual-wave morphing oscillators, stereo filters, fuldt polyfoniske analoge strenge, omfattende og brugervenlig modulation, studio-kvalitets effekter og MPE support, alt sammen i et elegant vintage-stil synth interface.
En Innovationsæra Dreamsynth henter sin inspiration fra anerkendte synths, herunder Ensoniq ESQ-1, Kawai "K" serien og Sequential Prophet VS. I anden halvdel af 80'erne var musikproduktion hurtigt ved at overgå fra analog til digital. Disse "hybride" synthesizere broede kløften ved at kombinere præcisionen og fleksibiliteten af sampled digitale oscillators med varmen fra analoge filters.
